What is Power of Three?
The "Power of 3" is a trading concept developed by ICT. It involves three key phases in a price movement: accumulation, manipulation, and distribution. These phases represent the formation of a candlestick.
In a bullish scenario:
Accumulation: This phase occurs when the market is engineering liquidity, typically at or below the opening price, where smart money accumulates long positions.
Manipulation: The market may dip below the opening price, triggering stop losses to gather liquidity.
Distribution: Price moves higher, closing above the opening price, allowing smart money to profit from earlier accumulation.
For a bearish candle, this concept reverses.

Settings and Usage
PO3 Settings
Timeframe Selection
Choose your preferred timeframe to view the HTF candles. The available options depend on the timeframes you've previously saved in your Layout’s Time Frame Section.
Analyst Insights:
What timeframe should we select? That is dependent on what an analyst wants to use the indicator for. For example, when trading intra-day we can select the Daily candle for HTF PO3 Candle, this way we can see the development of the daily candle as we are progressing through the day. If an analyst makes use of timeframe alignment (HTF Array + LTF Entry) we can select the desired timeframe, let’s say we mostly look for 1-Hour PD Arrays and market maker models that develop on the 1-minute timeframe. We select the 1-Hour timeframe in the HTF Power of Three° [Pro+] settings, while looking at the 1-minute timeframe. This allows analysts to keep an eye on the 1-Hour PD Array and the development of the 1-Hour candles without the need of switching timeframes.
Using New York Midnight Open:
ICT suggests starting the financial day at midnight New York Time. This feature allows analysts to position below the midnight open in bullish scenarios, and above it in bearish scenarios.
Analyst Insight:
ICT teaches that the true start of the financial day is at midnight in New York Time, the algorithm will base the PO3 formation of the day on this price level.
In bullish scenario's analyst look to position themselves below the midnight open, in bearish scenario's analysts look to position themselves above the midnight open.
Keeping the principles of Accumulation, manipulation and distribution and killzones mind, allows analysts to not only position themselves at a favorable price level, but also a favorable time window.

HTF Candles:
Adjust the amount of HTF candles displayed on the chart. By hovering over previous HTF PO3 candles' Open, High, Low, or Close, you can view their OHLC values and the range between the Low and High.
Analyst Insights:
By adjusting the amount of candles that are shown we are not only able to follow the development of a specific HTF candle, but we can also track HTF PD Arrays at the same time. If we are looking at a 5 minute timeframe, and we add multiple 1H HTF Power of Three° [Pro+] candles, we can see PD Arrays that are forming on that timeframe, and we can track how price moves inside of those arrays on the lower timeframe.

LTF Projections (Live PO3)
OHLC Price:

Analyst Insight:
As we view everything in the context of time and price, the OLHC Price setting displays the specific price levels of the Open, High, Low and Close.
Open Line:
Plots the horizontal line marking the opening price of the current HTF PO3.
Analyst Insights:
How can analysts use this feature in trading? If we make use of the understanding that the ideal positioning is below the open price in bullish scenario’s and above the open price in bearish scenario’s we can visualize this on the chart.
L/H Lines:
Plots horizontal lines to mark the current high and low of the live HTF PO3.
Analyst Insights:
The High and Low function helps analysts in visualizing the wicks on the lower timeframe. By knowing where the wicks are formed, we can anticipate certain PD Arrays being formed ahead of time. Let’s say price has been moving higher, and the current PO3 has formed a lower wick, if we anticipate a close higher we can already see if for example, a Fair Value Gap, or a rejection block are being formed on the HTF.

LTF Projections (Previous PO3)
O/C Time:
Shows or hides the open and close times of previous HTF PO3 candles or bars.
Open Line:
Highlights the open price of previous HTF PO3 candles or bars.
L/H Lines:
Projects the high and low of previous HTF PO3 candles or bars.
By using these settings, you can visually track how previous HTF candles developed, making it easier to interpret order flow across timeframes.
Analyst Insights:
How can analysts use this in trading? If we are looking to trade reversals, analysts can pair this function with the HTF PD Arrays. It visualizes how price will for example move above the previous candle’s high into a HTF Array. It allows for analysts to be specific and accurate as the timing aspect, the Open price, the low and high of a set amount of previous candles is now visible on the lower timeframe.

Analyst Insights:
The HTF PO3 Data table allows analysts to display important OHLC info in a single table, this saves time as you don’t need to manually look for information such as the range and time to close. The time to close can be used to gauge where we are in terms of time relative to the PO3. If we are working with a monthly PO3 candle, we know that at the end of the candle it has most likely already set the high and low, so expansions are less likely.
